RIAT SA (Porrentruy)

COMPANY DESCRIPTION RIAT SA, formerly SERGE RIAT SA, was founded in 1946 by Serge Riat, who joined forces with a fellow worker to create the company. In 1955, the Bruntrut painter decided to strike out on his own, and in 1979 transformed his business into a limited company.

Some fifty years ago, in 1965, Serge Riat, tempted by business, also opened a paint store in the old town (L'Arc-en-Ciel), which was handed over to his employee in 1989. The company's workshops have been transformed four times since its foundation, to improve working conditions and comply with current ecological standards.

Today, RIAT SA is run by the second generation, presided over and managed by son Patrick Riat. Patrick holds a degree in business management and an international master's degree.

The company currently employs 3 qualified painters and plasterers and 3 apprentices, and has trained over 50 apprentices since its inception.

The company is active in interior and exterior painting, plastering, smoothing, false ceilings and partitions, perimeter insulation, as well as in more specialized fields such as staff & stucco, wallpaper and signage.
