After Kurt Bieg successfully completed two apprenticeships as a construction painter and automotive painter, he decided to go into business for himself on June 1, 1976. The small company grew steadily and by the mid-1980s employed over 12 people.

At the same time, the in-house workshop was built in Koblenz, which is still our home today. Over the years, apprentices were always trained very successfully.

In 2010, daughter Stefanie Bieg began her additional training as a painter. After completing her training as a lettering and advertising designer with a professional diploma in design, she decided to join the family business. In 2012, she finished her training as the best in Canton. Seven years ago, this succession plan became the sole proprietorship Kurt Bieg Malergeschäft to kbmaler GmbH.

The generational change followed in 2018, and since then Stefanie Bieg has been the business owner and managing director. Kurt Bieg continues to provide advice and support. All seven to eight employees have successfully completed training with a certificate as a painter or plasterer. Our young, dynamic team guarantees you high-quality designs and targeted advice. Most of our employees have been with our company for many years.
