The company was founded in 1955 by Max Martinal in Chez-les-Reuses in a simple garage depot. He moved to Orsières in 1964. Anne-Marie and Yvan Martinal took over the reins of the company in 1987. They were happy to be able to count on the skills and confidence of José Laranjeira Fernandes, who had joined their father's business in 1985.

Today, Martinal Maçonnerie SA is a close-knit team of 10 people dedicated to the company's success. It's a great exchange between management and workers. Active in training, the company has so far trained several apprentices.
