Procedure

Chemical or industrial pickling is a process that removes one or more layers from objects made of wood, aluminum, metal/steel, etc., by dipping them in chemical baths. Soaking is followed by rinsing and neutralizing. This process is designed for all types of paint, except plasticized paints.

To guarantee the best results, we carefully analyze the objects to be stripped and the layers covering them. We then adapt the bath and soaking time accordingly. Fragile parts and hardwood are treated in special PH-neutral baths.

Once the pickling process is complete, the final step is drying in a ventilation oven, also adapted to the product. This drying process is gentle enough to take good care of the merchandise. The goods must be properly dried to ensure good adhesion to the new coat of paint, varnish, etc.

Benefits

One of the great advantages of chemical stripping is that it strips the entire surface of the parts, even the smallest nooks and crannies. It can be used, for example, to clean the inside of radiators.

What's more, stripping does not damage surfaces, whatever the material.
