Philippe Duperrex set up a business as an independent craftsman in 1966, mastering all facets of the upholsterer-decorator trade, combining traditional and contemporary methods. His clientele was mainly regional.

In 1981, his son Frédéric Duperrex joined him to complete his apprenticeship as an interior designer. After successfully completing his training, Frédéric worked mainly in the workshop, upholstering and dressing furniture such as seats, sofas and armchairs.

Frédéric left his father in 1997 to join a well-known interior design and antiques company in the region, in order to expand and acquire new skills. During this period, Frédéric completed the training course for floor installers.

Frédéric returned to his father's business in 2001. The new knowledge he brought with him enabled him to work with renowned interior designers, while continuing to develop their private customers.

On this new basis, Philippe et Frédéric Duperrex Sàrl was founded in 2004. From this point on, the company set about developing a broader customer base. In collaboration with interior architects, the company has been entrusted with projects in renowned seaside resorts in Switzerland, as well as abroad (England, France, Cyprus and Italy).

In 2012, Frédéric Duperrex acquired Philippe et Frédéric Duperrex Sàrl for his own account. In 2013, he created the new company Duperrex Decorator Interior Sàrl. Under this new name, the company, with its seven employees and the help of qualified subcontractors, continues to develop its activities with the aim of always satisfying its customers.
