Hirt Schreinerei GmbH (Frenkendorf)

History:

On April 1, 1979 Willi Hirt took over the premises of the company Schneider + Christen at Rheinstrasse 73 in Frenkendorf. He founded the sole proprietorship Willi Hirt Schreinerei.

The offer included building carpentry (doors, window sills, lintel boards, wainscoting, etc.), custom-made furniture, repair work and restoration of furniture. As a subcontractor of shopfitting companies, furniture and finishing parts for upscale shopfitting were also made.

The offer was later extended to include textile and parquet flooring. Curtains were also made or modified. The own offer was extended with furniture from foreign programs. Everything can be seen in a permanent exhibition of 400 m².

When the founder of the company Willi Hirt died in January 1995, the company was continued by his wife and son as Willi Hirt Möbel-Innenausbau GmbH.

A specialty of the house are shoe cabinets and wardrobes in the modular system, which are made in various widths and wood decors, with a standard depth of only 25 cm.
In order to satisfy also the future customers we offer original children's furniture and wooden figures. Also a desk program that grows with the child (height-adjustable desks), expandable to the office.

The staff is composed as follows: Mr. J.P. Hirt as workshop manager, Mrs. Hirt in the administration, four skilled carpenters as employees in the company, as well as 2 apprentices. Apprentices have been trained every two years since 1982.
