Durable waterproofing

Tested principle

The edges are thoroughly cleaned and dried. An epoxy-based glue and waterproofing tape are then applied. The waterproofing tapes are subjected to heavy mechanical load and have high resistance to mechanical, chemical and climatic stresses.

Waterproofing Tapes

To ensure the ideal climate inside buildings, all connections must be sealed. Interior and exterior sealing of doors and windows places specific requirements:

• Exterior seals must be watertight, but at the same time allow vapor to escape
• Interior seals must allow vapor to escape.

If the construction is not sufficiently airtight on the inside, the warm-humid air inside the building will penetrate the building envelope and condense.

If the building is not airtight, cold outside air can penetrate the building envelope resulting in condensation when cooling.

The difference between the SD value of the vapor brake/vapor barrier on the warm side and the SD value of the vapor permeable film on the cold side should be ten times.
