The painting gene runs in the family: The Zollinger family's painting profession can be traced back without interruption to the century before last. The great-great-grandfather of today's company owner, Stefan Zollinger, attended the painter's trade school in Zurich before training as a master painter in Munich, which was a painter's stronghold at the time. He then ran his business in Oerlikon. Due to his early death and the resulting division of the estate, the business was dissolved. His grandson Albert Zollinger founded the current painting business in Zurich-Altstetten.

01.07.1977 The present company is founded by Albert Zollinger in Zurich-Altstetten. Education as painter and civil engineer HTL.

01.04.1994 Son, Stefan Zollinger, joins the company, having previously completed his apprenticeship and journeyman years in other companies.

08.10.1998 As the second youngest graduate of his apprenticeship year, Stefan Zollinger passes the examination to become a federally certified master painter. His masterwork achieves top marks in execution and presentation.

01.07.2001 Stefan Zollinger takes over the business from his father, who, however, remains with the company as a "temporary troubleshooter".
