Sanitary - Building services

The municipal waterworks supply hygienically safe drinking water at a pressure of 6-9 bar up to the water meter in every property. Our task as sanitary plumbers is**,** to lead this precious foodstuff from the in-house water distributor through an approved installation system to the last tapping point. Some of this water is piped as cold water through a fine filter and a pressure reducing valve today usually with chrome steel or plastic pipes directly to the tapping points. Another part of the water is led to a water heater and treated by adding energy and supplied as hot water to the tapping points. In order to keep the hot water warm in the circulating pipes, a circulation pump or an electric tracing heater is installed.

A portion of the water is piped directly to the garage and garden taps using the existing high pressure.

Depending on the existing water hardness, a water softening system can also be installed to prevent limescale residues on shower partitions or in cooking pots.

The water consumed by the various sanitary appliances is collected by a wastewater piping system, which is also approved, and fed to the sewerage system through wastewater downpipes.

These components of the sanitary system are designed by us and installed by our qualified sanitary fitters.
