History

In 1923 the painting business Severin Borer was founded by Severin Borer-Schmidlin. The first workshop was in the property of Otto Meier on Passwangstrasse, another location of the painting shop was with Josef Schmid in Neumatt Büsserach. In 1933 the founder of the company built a residential house with workshop in Niederfeld. In 1964 the business was handed over to Severin Borer Jun. and Iwan Borer. After careful planning and realization, the present business premises with workshop, storage rooms, office, paint store and two apartments were occupied in 1974. Since 1986 the painting business has been successfully run by the two brothers Gerold and Dieter Borer as business owners in the 3rd generation. In 1992, the company was converted into a joint stock company. In August 2010, Stefan Borer, son of Dieter Borer, joined the company. Thus, the 4th generation is already working in the company. Stefan Borer attended the master painter school in Zurich for 3 years and graduated with a federal diploma.
In 2013 the company celebrated its 90th anniversary. The company currently employs 10 people, two of whom are apprentice painters.

Our team is very flexible

Special flexibility is required when changing apartments. The apartment is cleared out. You suddenly see where the pictures and wall decorations were hung. The apartment should therefore be repainted immediately. The new tenant "is already at the door". No problem, because our team is very flexible. Test us!
