The Brändi Foundation is a foundation under private law and a professional non-profit organization. It is committed to the quality of life of people with disabilities. It supports the individuality of the people and the regional anchoring in their personal environment. It promotes professional, social and cultural inclusion. People with mental or physical disabilities and people with learning disabilities or mental impairments work and live at the Brändi Foundation. In the canton of Lucerne, it offers 1100 jobs and training positions and 340 residential options in 15 companies. With a total of 1800 employees, the Brändi Foundation is one of the largest employers in the canton.

The Brändi Foundation is also very successful in the economic market. It works closely with industry and commerce in production, training and integration. It is active in 14 sectors and provides high production services. The income from these services relieves the finances of the Canton of Lucerne considerably; they enable a high degree of self-financing.
